Hillbilly Proud spent their 4th of July weekend at “Hillbilly Racing” in Rada, WV. The two day event featured dirt drag racing, mud bog racing, ATV mud bogging, and ATV dirt drag racing. The mud bog went well on Sunday, but the drag races were kind of sporadic Saturday. They say they are going to do away with the drag races and put a hill n hole in for next year, which is cool since TALA did away with the only one around WV this season. There is probably more footage of the ATV drag racing than anything else, which went smooth and fast all day. The classes are mixed in the ATV races, the mud bog went from big to small, and the dirt drags went from small to big. There is a lot of drop out in the video due to all of the dust in the air over the weekend. We are getting some extra equipment to try and keep it from happening so much again. Madison County Fair 2011 from Richmond, Kentucky provided plenty of mud racing action for all ages from the little ATV riders to the big boy mud racing dragsters. The mud races were held on July 22 & 23, 2011. We had a great time and hope to make it back sometime.
