lol – well, nur … lol – well, nur suprise – it seems US fire trucks aren’t neven built as 4-wheel drive and with no off-road capability, e.g. higher ground clearance, as it’s the case in my country, where even big city fire depts. have only 4WD trucks. Only exceptions are special low-built vehicles, such as aerials (ladders) and telescope mast vehicles. And those departments with real rough terrain rely on specialized engines, built on extra cross-country-capable trucks.
